    • Hi Leila, it’s the ‘Harp and Bird’ card is it? Let me know, postcards are £1 each, greetings cards £2.50 each, plus p&p according to weight.
      Many thanks,
      yrs Caroline Assheton.

  1. Dear Caroline,
Thanks a lot for your reply. Yes, it is the harp & bird card.
I have a 7 year old daughter who plays harp and in love with birds 🙂
It is going to be her birthday soon and I thought of getting this nice card as the invitation card for her friends (about 18 kids) since she has chosen “harp” as her birthday theme.
May I ask you a couple of questions please.
What type of paint the card is?
Since the greetings version would be a bit pricy for the occasion, do you thing the post card version can be used as invitation card? Please let me know if you have any thoughts.
    Many thanks again.
    Leila

  2. Hello again,
I was just looking at the “party invitation” card right after the harp card and wondering whether there would be a possibility to transform the harp card to a birthday invitation card. That would be wonderful 🙂

  3. Dear Caroline,
Thank you so much for your reply. I confirm the 18 invitation card and I guess once the colors blend, it would be even nicer 😉
Since you will be working on the invitation version, I thought of sending you all info. in advance to be used on the card (as it is in French 🙂
I do apologize for the long mail.

    – The “Harp” frame itself looks very much like no.7 and I thought of having a nice no. 7 somewhere next to the harp. Since my daughter will turn to 7, I found the idea interesting.

    – As I am not aware whether you are able to have the invitation text on the back side of the card or not, therefore, I am sending you 2 version of info. to go either on the back side or front side (p/s: I personally prefer to have the ” harp & no. 7″ on front side and the text on the back side, but if not possible, then we put the brief info. on the front side as well).

    A) If back side is not possible, here is what we need on the front side:
    The “Harp& the bird” – A nice symbolic “7” – “Anniversaire d’Emma” – “le 3 décembre” – ” de 15h a 18h” – ” RSVP avant le 27 novembre au 0617305015″ – ” 10 Villa Croix Nivert, 75015 PARIS” –

If using the back side of the card is possible, here is what we need:
On the front side: the ” Harp & the bird” + a nice symbolic “7”
A text to go on the back side:
    Emma
Famille GILLE – 10 Villa Croix Nivert – 75015 PARIS

Thank you in advance and kindly let me know if I mentioned anything not clear enough.
    Regards

    • Dear Leile, do not despair, the card is underway! I have found a way how to put your text on the back, and am just re-working the picture so it incorporates Emma’s 7, and fits on the postcard, yours Caroline.

  4. Thank you for the update Caroline.
I would just ask you to keep the same “yellow, blue and brown” originally used on the card as I am using them for the other elements of the event.
If you have not put the text on the card yet, kindly change “18h” to “18:30”. There won’t be any other changes 🙂

I look forward to hear from you.
    Regards,
    Leila

  5. Dear Caroline,
Could you please confirm whether you’ve received my reply to your e-mail few days ago or not as it seems I had mail issues at biginning of the week. It was sent on Sep 29th.
    Thank you,
    Leila

  6. Oh no! so my feeling was true. I replied it in yahoo directly. Good we realized! Let me copy it here:

    Dear Caroline,
The card is absolutely beautiful. I showed it to Emma and she liked it too 🙂
I found the “seven” and Emma’s tag on the harp very nice and cute. Thank you so so much 🙂

I re-counted the number of people once more and would like to get 20 cards instead of 18 please.

If you have not put the text yet on the back side, kindly use below final invitation text as I edited two words:

    “Rendez-vous Mercredi 3 décembre 2014 de 15h a 18:30
    Pour commencer cet anniversaire party!

Je t’attendrai chez moi. Papa et Maman s’occupent de tout. Pour qu’ils puissent gérer les derniers details, merci de leur confirmer ta présence avant le 27 novembre au 0617305015

    …………………………………………………7 ans ça se fête!!!…………………………………………………………………….

If you have any thoughts for the design etc, please share with me 🙂
I had to put dots in one of the sentences above to keep it in the middle of the line as it was moving without the dots!! Please keep it in the middle.
Thank you again from all of us here 🙂
    Leila

    • Hi Leila, I have amended the wording and sent it off to the printers! So finger’s crossed it should be here in a few days, I’ll check it and then send on to you, and Emma! Thank you for your kind comments and I’m pleased Emma liked it, with best wishes from Caroline.

  7. Many thanks for the update Caroline 🙂 since you mentioned the printers, I was wondering if we could have a choice on paper quality etc or not. I do not know if it is already too late for it or not but if we still have the choice, I would rather go for a good quality, heavyweight, thick paper possibly with a gloss finish. I don’t mind if it will be little more expensive but since the painting and colors are great, it worths doing it 🙂 what is your opinion?
    Thanks a lot,
    Leila

  8. Thank you so much Caroline for giving me good news for the quality 🙂
Let me know please once you receive them.
    Regards,
    Leila
